Pierre Koffmann’s guide to Rugby World Cup 2023

#1 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

Gascony-born Pierre Koffmann is a chef famed the world over for his work in the kitchens of The Waterside Inn, his own three-Michelin-starred Le Tante Claire and his legendary pig’s trotter, but less-known are his exploits on the rugby pitch, as a flanker for Toulon.

As well as providing us with insight into Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the region that’s home to Marseille and Nice – which between them are hosting ten matches at Rugby World Cup 2023, including games involving England, Scotland and Wales – not to mention the rugby mecca of Toulon, you can also read about Pierre’s rugby life in our interview here.
